Sara Eliza Johnson & C.A. Schaefer

Sara Johnson is a graduate of Cornell University and received her MFA in poetry from the University of Oregon. Her work has appeared or is forthcoming in Boston Review, New England Review, Best New Poets 2009, Crab Orchard Review, Tampa Review, Memorious, Shenandoah, Vinyl, Willow Springs, Iron Horse Literary Review, Verse Daily and Pleiades, Meridian. Her first book, Bone Map, won the 2013 National Poetry Series. A finalist for the Stadler Fellowship and Ruth Lilly Poetry Fellowship, she is the recipient of numerous honors, including a scholarship to the Bread Loaf Writers’ Conference, as well as fellowships from the University of Oregon and the University of Utah, where she is currently a doctoral student and Vice Presidential Fellow in creative writing.

C.A. Schaefer is a doctoral fellow at the University of Utah, where she has taught creative writing and been a managing editor of Quarterly West. Her work has appeared in or is forthcoming from So to Speak, Rappahannock Review, Passages North, Drunken Boat and elsewhere. She lives in Salt Lake City with her partner and two small beasts.
