Presented with The Salt Lake City Library

Meet children's book author, illustrator and pop-up book maker Robert Sabuda! He will visit the King's English for a special book-signing only appearance. His recent books re-tell our favorite tales, including The Wonderful Wizard of Oz, Alice's Adventures in Wonderland and Peter Pan.

Sabuda currently works from his studio in New York City and is involved in a wide variety of projects that involve movable paper. He has been awarded the Meggendorfer Prize three times, an award instituted by the Movable Book Society of America in honor of German illustrator Lothar Meggendorfer.

The Salt Lake City Library and The Gallery at Library Square are currently exhibiting "Pop-ups: Books That Spring to Life" from the collection of Ann Montanaro Staples featuring a Gallery Talk with Robert Sabuda, Thursday, September 27, 7-9 p.m. in the main auditorium with a public reception following the show.
